Some of the famous courses available at PGA West...
Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course -
No golf course designer can quite capture the same combination of challenge, beauty, and drama as Jack Nicklaus. His bold strokes are laid out on a scenic desert canvas known as the PGA WEST Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course. Every hole on this demanding course requires its own unique strategy; especially the 561 yard, par 5 15th, which culminates with a shallow and well-bunkered island green. It is only fitting that a round on the Tournament Course should end with a dramatic water-crossing shot to the signature 9th and 18th double green.
Arnold Palmer Tournament Course -
Arnold Palmer has created some of the fairest and most natural tests of golf in the world. Nowhere is this truer than the PGA WEST Arnold Palmer Private Course. With his trademark use of gentle curves and rounded bunkers, Palmer sculpted five par threes and five par fives into the course, creating many opportunities for heroics. The most challenging opportunity comes at the 532 yard, par 5 finishing hole, where the brave player can take a chance over the rock-lined lake, go for the green in two, and finish a memorable round with a birdie, or maybe even eagle! The 9th hole on this course was ranked the hardest Hole on the PGA TOUR (1994), based on players stroke average during the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.

TPC Stadium Course -
There may be no greater challenge in the game of golf than the PGA WEST TPC® Stadium Golf® Course, designed by Pete Dye and ranked in The 100 Greatest Courses in the U.S. by Golf Magazine. Revered for its brash beauty and intriguing design, nine of the holes have water very much in play, and almost every hole displays Pete Dye's tremendous bunkering. This is especially true on the 16th, a 571 yard, par 5, where the massive green side bunker, complete with stairs, sits 18 feet below the level of the green. It's no wonder the TPC® Stadium Golf Course has been the site of so many high-profile events, including The Skins Game, The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, and the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.
Citrus Course at La Quinta Resort & Club
This very unique facility, which was named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1998 list of "Silver Medal Resorts," features three well-designed eighteen hole courses. Indian Palms three nine hole courses – the Mountain, Royal and Indian nines – are designed to provide tests of accuracy rather than strength and distance.
In addition, each nine offers a slightly diverse style of golf challenge, taking full advantage of its majestic surroundings, offering the perfect challenge to ignite the interest of any caliber of golfer. Throughout your round, you will come across strategically placed sand traps and water comes into play on 15 of the 27 holes. In contrast to most desert courses, hundreds of mature trees line each fairway. Our signature hole is the 301 yard par-4 5th Hole on the Mountain Nine – featuring our island green.
Indian Palms is also proud to offer a world-class practice facility featuring a double ended driving range, two practice putting greens and a complete short game area with areas for chipping, sand play, and putting practice.
